Man arrested in knifepoint robbery at Moultrie store

MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - An 18-year-old man used a knife to hold up a clerk at a CVS store and then fled on foot.

Alexander Granados took Google Play Giftcards and cash from the register at 1022 Main St. on Wednesday.

Moultrie police officers and the clerk found Granados on social media. The clerk identified him as a regular customer.

Officers arrested him Thursday. They did not find the cash but recovered the stolen Play Cards.

Granados faces charges of armed robbery, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, and agggrvated assault. He is being held in Colquitt County Jail.
