SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A man has been arrested in connection to the TD Bank robbery in Live Oak.
Robert Ray, 46, of Orlando was arrested at about 11:00 a.m. Friday in Dawson, Georgia.
According to Live Oak Police Department Lieutenant Jason Rountree, Ray was able to get away with around $2,650 and drive off in a red Hyundai Elantra with a missing front bumper that did not belong to him.
Investigators with the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office got a tip about Ray’s whereabouts and contacted Live Oak PD after tracking him down at a hotel.
He was then taken into custody and is in Terrell County awaiting extradition.
Ray has outstanding warrants for bank robberies in Seminole County (FL) and Orange County (FL). Lieutenant Rountree said he expects Ray to be extradited to Seminole County first.

The Live Oak Police Department is seeking warrants for the suspect's arrest on Friday, the Suwannee Democrat reported.

According to the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office, the TD Bank in Live Oak was robbed about less than minutes ago.
The sheriff's office shared photos of the suspect and his vehicle on Facebook.
