BAKER COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A man was arrested for having nine grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside his car.
David Marshall Thompson was arrested by the Baker County Sheriff's Office after they found meth and drug paraphernalia inside his car on March 22.
On March 22 around 3:44 p.m., deputies made contact with Thompson, who was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of a Auto Zone.
According to deputies, Thompson appeared to be very nervous and acted as if he was trying to hide something.
A Sheriff’s Office K-9 then did a free air sniff of the vehicle and smelled the odor of drugs on the driver and passenger side.
Searching his car, deputies found that Thompson was in possession of several syringes and several empty zip lock plastic baggies with meth residue.
He was found to be in possession of 9.3 grams of meth.
Thompson was transported to the Baker County Detention Center.
