THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Deputies have arrested a man for burning down an elementary school's storage building on Saturday.
The Thomas County Sheriff's Office says that Joseph Aracri, 18, was arrested on Sunday in connection to the arson.
The fires happened Saturday night at Cross Creek Elementary. Authorities say the school's storage building was burned.
Luckily, firefighters were able to put out the flames before they spread to other buildings on campus.
Clues lead authorities to believe it was arson.
When they talked to Aracri, he admitted to starting the fire at the storage building and another inside a dumpster at the school.
