JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Authorities arrest a man in Jackson County, after stealing from the area Walmart.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to the Walmart off Highway 71 in reference to retail theft. Upon arrival, store employees told deputies that they saw a man stealing two vacuum cleaners from the store. Both items retailed over $700.
The man then fled the scene after associates tried to stop him. Shortly there after, deputies made contact with the suspect, Tarik Tramon Hawkins, who was then detained. Hawkins has been transported to Jackson County Correctional Facility.
