LEON COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - A man has been arrested after being accused of sexual battery of two children under the age of 12, according to the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were contacted by a family member of one of the children after they learned of possible illegal contact between Hipolito Rodriguez, 40, and the two children.
LCSO says Violent Crimes Detectives are working with the Child Protection Team as well as the Florida Department of Children and Families in the investigation.
Authorities have confirmed that an incident happened between Rodriguez and each of the children within the last week.
Rodriguez was arrested on July 1; he was interviewed and then booked in the Leon County Jail.
