Man Arrested for Murder of FAMU Graduate Student

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) --  A man wanted in connection to the death of a FaMU graduate student is now behind bars.

Antowan J. Hawkins was taken into custody Monday around 5:30 p.m.

He's being charged with the murder of Aaron Goodwin. In addition to homicide, Hawkins is facing counts of robbery, arson, evidence tampering and vehicle grand theft.

Goodwin's body was found in May inside his Adams Street sneaker store, Exclusive Heat.

Officers were responding to a fire at the shop, and that's when they discovered his body.

Two other men have also been arrested in connection to Goodwin's death.

Zachary D. Jones and Marvin Barrington were arrested on Friday. Both men were charged with felony murder, arson, robbery and tampering with evidence.
