TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A man has been arrested after walking up behind a woman and putting his hand on her face at FSU, according to police.
Torryan Jamir Bryant, 28, was caught and charged with Misdemeanor Battery and Trespass After Warning.
According to Florida State University Police, two women reported in separate incidents on Wednesday that a man walked up behind them and put his hand on their faces. Both women said the man ran away after touching them.
Police searched the area and eventually found Bryant who matched the descriptions of the victims. One of the victims positively identified Bryant and authorities say they are looking to see if Bryant may be involved in the other case.
FSUPD says Bryant is not affiliated with the university. Officers also say more charges may be pending.
"The safety and security of our students is of the utmost importance," said FSU Police Chief David Perry. "Our students, faculty, staff and visitors all have the right to be safe on and around campus, and we will continue to dedicate ourselves to the safety of our community."
