BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - A man is arrested after officers say he fired his gun during a fight near Bainbridge Middle School Friday afternoon.
According to Bainbridge Public Safety, 43-year old Darrell Clemons is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and reckless conduct.
Officers heard about the fight after a resource officer at the middle school reported hearing five gunshots.
When officers arrived, they say they saw about 50 people participating or encouraging a fight in the road near the Floyd tennis courts on Miluli Avenue.
Officers say Clemons fired his gun into the crowd and a man was shot in the hand.
Clemons has been charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Reckless Conduct.
