THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - Police have arrested a man they have linked to multiple car break-ins in Thomasville.
The Thomasville Police Department said that they have arrested Stephone Javone Thomas on two counts of larceny from vehicle, two counts of larceny of a weapon, one count of burglary, and one count of stolen vehicle.
They said that on Saturday, a citizen saw Thomas inside of a parked car on Mississippi Avenue in Thomasville and called them.
Upon further investigation, investigators were able to link Thomas to the break in on Mississippi Avenue as well as two others.
They said one happened on Imperial Drive where a 2015 Cheverolet Pickup Truck was stolen. The pickup truck was later found in the 500 block of West Calhoun St., after it was discovered by other citizens. A shot gun was also reported stolen from the truck.
The other involved two cars that were broken into in the 2000 block of East Pinetree Blvd. During this incident, two hand guns were stolen. Thomas has been linked to all of the above crimes and is charged with the prior stated.
