TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A man has been arrested for a stabbing earlier this month in Tallahassee.

Paul Malik Myers was arrested Tuesday for attempted homicide from an incident on August 9, on Ann Arbor Avenue, according to police.

Myers is accused of holding Terrance Gilbert to the ground while he was being stabbed 9 times. Myers was staying at Gilbert's home along with Quinten Bussey. Gilbert told police that Myers held him to the ground, choking him while Bussey stabbed him repeatedly.

Police say while Bussey was stabbing Myers, he repeatedly yelled, "Where are the drugs?"

Gilbert told police he was able to get away by biting Myers's arm and running to a neighbor for help when Myers and Bussey ran from the house.

Police documents show that Bussey has yet to be identified and a further investigation is necessary.
