TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A man was arrested in Tallahassee after throwing a rock at a manager of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel and missing, according to police.

Glen Dorsey was arrested Tuesday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

Officers say the Four Points Hotel manager called saying that a "homeless type male", later identified as Dorsey, tried hitting him with a large rock.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the manager told police that Dorsey was smashing the rock in the road outside of the hotel and when he walked onto the sidewalk near the building, the manager told Dorsey to leave and get away from the building.

The manager told police that Dorsey became angry and charged at him with the rock over his head. According to the report, the manager ran into the hotel lobby as Dorsey threw the rock where it missed him and fell to the ground.

Police say Dorsey ran from the scene but was later found by police based on the managers description. Dorsey was taken into custody and positively identified by the hotel manager.

Dorsey was taken to the Leon County Jail without further incident.
