TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- A Tallahassee man was arrested on multiple charges after he was accused of using a truck to ram the car of an ex-girlfriend who had a domestic violence injunction against him and pulling off her driver side door handle.

Jeremy Antuan Brown, 26, was arrested Wednesday and released on bond from the Leon County Jail.

He is charged with aggravated assault without intent to kill, attempted burglary of an occupied connveyance (a car), violation of injunction against domestic violence and criminal mischief $200 or less.

On Feb. 21, 2017, Brown was driving a GMC Sierra truck westbound on Pensacola Stteet, approaching Appleyard Drive, when the victim noticed he was rapidly approaching her Kia Soul, according to a probable cause affidavit.

She told the investigator she feared what Brown would do to her if he caught up to her but she ultimately stopped in traffic with Brown's truck ahead of her. She said Brown put his truck in reverse and backed it into the front of her car.

She recorded part of Brown's action then and later with her cell phone.

Fearing for her safety, she said, she went in to the Wendy's parking lot at 3030 West Pensacola Street and parked her car. Brown's truck entered the parking lot and drove up behind her car, blocking it in.

The victim said she locked her door and Brown drove his truck into her car, moving it about three inches, got out of his truck and ripped the handle off her driver side door.

Unable to gain entry to the victim's car, Brown tossed the handle to the ground and drove away.

A witness later told the investigator he saw the incident at Wendy's.

Brown failed to keep a scheduled interview with the police investigator, who gathered the victim's cell phone footage of Brown's actions as evidence.
