HAHIRA, GA (WTXL) - One man is under arrest after Lowndes County Sheriff's investigators said they discovered a meth lab in his house.
According to the Sheriff's Office, investigators had received tips of suspicious activities happening at a house on the 8300 block of Morven Road in Hahira. When investigators searched the house, they said they found an active meth lab.
Deputies arrested 36-year-old Leroy Bowman on Wednesday. He is charged with criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
A special team was brought in to safely dismantle the lab and prepare it for safe storage.
