MADISON Co., FL (WTXL) - A man was arrested in Madison County over the weekend after throwing a beer bottle at a car and breaking the windshield, according to deputies.
Harrell Lenard Sims was arrested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office on Saturday charged with criminal mischief, throwing a missile into a vehicle, and resisting an officer without violence.
Deputies say they were called out to the Quail Hollow Trailer Park just before 2:30 a.m. They say when they spoke with Sims, he appeared to be "obviously intoxicated."
When deputies told Sims he was under arrest, they say he ran from them. A canine unit was called out and tracked Sims to a home in the trailer park where he was taken into custody.
