VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Valdosta police have arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man accused of stealing t-shirts and baseball caps from Max Plus Mattress & Rugs.

Police say they caught the teen leaving the business through a bottom window, carrying several items in his hands. The load didn't stop him from running, according to police, but he was apprehended off the 1400 Block of N. Lee Street.

Police were able to recover the stolen property, which included several baseball caps, a t-shirt, and some change. The teen was taken to the Lowndes County Jail. He will be transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Thomasville.

The other burglary suspect, James Ivey, was seen walking in the same area. After an investigation, police say they discovered he helped the juvenile get into the business. He was arrested and taken to the Lowndes County Jail.

The teen suspect is charged with burglary and obstruction of justice. Ivey is charged with burglary.
