TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police have arrested a man accused of threatening a victim with a hammer, forcing her into an abandoned house, and raped her multiple times.
According to a probable cause document, Earl Thomas was arrested on Sunday.
Officers were at the McDonald's on West Tennessee Street on unrelated business when the victim approached them, saying that she had just been sexually battered.
Documents say that the victim had walked to the Time Saver convenience store on West Brevard.
While walking back to her destination, Thomas approached the victim, grabbed her by the hair and held a hammer up to her. Thomas then forced the victim to walk to an abandoned house and sexually assaulted her multiple times, according to an arrest report.
When officers found Thomas, the swabbed him for DNA evidence and arrested him for unrelated arrest warrants.
Thomas is facing charged for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, kidnapping to facilitate the commission of a felony, and six counts of sexual assault.
He is currently in jail on a $25,000 bond.
