TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man has been arrested, accused of openly touching himself in front of people leaving a local night club.

Takoji Williams, 33, was taken into custody and charged with indecent exposure.

On March 21, witnesses called the Tallahassee Police Department to the area of Madison Street and South Woodward Avenue about a man who was publicly touching himself, according to a complaint document.

Witnesses say they saw the man standing next to a blue Ford Crown Victoria outside of Recess Nightclub.

When officers spoke to the man, he identified himself as Takoji Williams. He told them that he had just left Recess and was having car trouble.

When officers told him what witnesses had said, he denied touching himself and said he was urinating next to his vehicle, though officers note they couldn't find any evidence supporting his claim.

On April 27, police responded to William's job at the Residence Inn on West Gaines Street to arrest him. He was taken into custody without incident.

Williams has since gotten out of jail on a $2,500 bond. A case management hearing is set for May 29.
