TALLAHASSEE, FL.(WTXL)-- A man has been charged with attempted murder after attacking his ex-girlfriends friend at her home.
According to the victim, he had been laying in bed when Wesley Goldwire Jr. attacked him with what appeared to be a box cutter. Goldwire fought with him and "got a couple good slices on me" before fleeing the scene.
During the altercation, Goldwire's ex-girlfriend ran outside to a near by construction site and asked them to call the police.
Goldwire is currently on probation for carjacking and is charged with one count of burglary and attempted homicide.
He had his first court appearance on Friday.
