TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man was arrested in Tallahassee after two people accused him of sexually and physically abusing them when they were children.

David DeDemoninicis, 60, of Hernando, Florida, was booked into the Leon County Detention Center on Thursday on a charge of sexual battery of a physically helpless victim 12 years of age or older.

No bond amount was indicated.

One victim said that DeDemoninicis, between 1980 and 1991, sexually abused them multiple times.

A second victim says he sexually battered them once, according to a probable cause affidavit. That victim said DeDemoninicis also regularly physically abused them and deprived them of food.

Court documents say the abuse occurred in Tallahassee, Orlando, Casselberry, and in Nashville, Tennessee.

On June 15, 2017, after one of the victims telephoned the LCSO to report the abuse, they told investigators the abuse occurred when no other adult was in the house.

DeDemoninicis threatened to kill the family if anyone else learned what happened, the victims said.
