TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Lawyers for the man accused of killing a Leon County mother last year need more time before a trial date can be set.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Bryon Massey in the murder of Tiffany Nance. She was found stabbed to death in the woods in January 2017.

Massey's attorneys say they're still receiving evidence in the case.

The court granted the request for more time. Massey will be back in court March 29.

He faces 15 other charges.

Some are unrelated to the murder. All of those cases will follow the first-degree murder case.
