TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - One Tallahassee man is on a mission to make cinnamon roll donuts a reality.
On May 26, JR Sims (@JRSims1 on Twitter) made his plea to the family-owned Donut Kingdom on Twitter. Since then, Sims has been rallying others to help him reach the ultimate goal: 1,000 retweets.
He tweeted that he was "pulling for Tallahassee citizens to get the donut we all deserve."
Now, as today marks National Donut Day, he is calling for a renewed effort:
The tweet has 330 retweets as of June 2 but Sims and others are staying optimistic that cinnamon roll donuts from Donut Kingdom will be officially brought to life.
