MADISON, Fla. (WTXL)-- The city of Madison welcomes a new police chief as one of four major personnel changes taking place.
Madison County native Ken Moore has been chosen as the new police chief, replacing Gary Calhoun who resigned in November 2014.
Moore is a special agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and has more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement.
He's spent the last 13 years in Miami, investigating public corruption and officer-involved shootings.,
The city held a welcome reception for community members for residents to get to know the new police chief.
