MADISON COUNTY, FL. (WTXL) - Madison County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a man they say, never reported to the Madison County Jail to face sex offender charges after being granted a furlough.
Kevin Gardner was convicted for charges of sexual battery by person in custodial authority and impregnating a minor. Gradner was sentenced to 10 years for the crime on December 3rd. After his sentencing, the court granted him a furlough, with instructions to report to the jail by 9a.m. on January 5th.
Deputies say, he never showed up and he now faces more charges. They believe he could be in Orange Park or St. Augustine.
