MADISON CO., Fla. (WTXL) - On Friday, August 22, 2014, Madison County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) Drug Task Force investigators served a narcotic search warrant along with arrest warrants at Terrence Brown's home on SW Brookwood Avenue. Sheriff Ben Stewart says the warrants were a culmination of a several month long covert drug distribution investigation.
Sheriff Stewart says during the sting, investigators found evidence of continued marijuana sales as well as evidence of illegal alcohol sales.
"Investigators recovered more than 50 additional packages of marijuana, 166 pints of Seagrams Gin, 163 pints of Paul Mason Brandy, 23 bottles of Mad Dog 20/20, 31 cans of various brands of beer, currency and ledgers recording sales transactions," according to Sheriff Stewart. "Numerous items used to weigh and package marijuana was also seized."
40-year old Terrence Vashon Brown was arrested on warrants of 3 counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and 3 counts of sale of marijuana. Additional charges after the search include possession of marijuana ith intent to sell, possession of marijuana more than 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and sell of alcohol without a license.
