GREENVILLE, FL (WTXL) - The Madison County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a man arrested for cocaine possession earlier this month.
Austin Travon Douglas of Greenville, Florida, was arrested Wednesday, June 3 according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say they attempted to stop Douglas while he was riding his bicycle down Main Street in Greenville when Douglas jumped off his bike and ran into the backyard of an area home.
Douglas lefts the backyard where investigators say they detained and searched the backyard.
According to deputies, a clear zip lock bag filled of cocaine as well as several small baggies "that are commonly used to package illegal narcotics" near the back door of the home.
The owner of the home denied owning the drugs and investigators say they were able to determine that Douglas was the only person previously in the yard.
Douglas was arrested and taken to the Madison County Jail.
