MADISON, FL (WTXL) -- Two students and a construction worker were arrested in a drug sweep earlier this month at Madison County High School.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit, along with school officers, randomly searched buildings, classrooms, lockers and vehicles on May 15.
Officers arrested Whigberto Ruiz of Crawfordville with possession of marijuana. Ruiz was a construction worker authorized to be on campus at the time, as part of a remodeling crew working on the school.
Two students were also arrested: one charged with possession and intent to sell marijuana, and the other charged with possession of controlled substance.
