MADISON CO., Fla. (WTXL) - On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, Madison County Emergency Management held the third annual Emergency Preparedness Expo on North Florida Community College's campus.

Speakers included State Director of Florida Emergency Management Bryan Koon, Mark Wool of the National Weather Service-Tallahassee, Madison Fire Chief Bruce Jordan, Chief Deputy Epp Richardson of the Madison County Sheriff's Office and Tri-County Electric's Manager of Engineering Jeff Brewer.

According to attendee Patrick Lightcap, Koon praised Madison County Emergency Management Director Tom Cisco for guiding Madison County in attaining national accreditation for his department. Lightcap said Director Koon also mention that Mr. Cisco will be leaving Madison County on June 5, 2015 to take a position with Emergency Management in Volusia County.

Lightcap said representatives from many organizations and agencies set up displays and many had free items for attendees, including flash lights, weather radios, umbrellas, caps and informative handouts.
