MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL)--A south Georgia organization honors dozens of law enforcement officers for keeping suspected drunk drivers off the roads.
To kick off the Mothers Against Drunk Driving annual recognition banquet Saturday in Moultrie, the Air Evac team out of Cordele, made a grand entrance by helicopter.
All sorts of volunteers were and officers with the highest number of arrests were awarded from places including Colquitt County, Thomasville, and Valdosta, just to name a few.
Saturday was MADD's fifth annual recognition banquet.
They also gave Jade Bulecza an award for best broadcast new coverage.
