TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Two Maclay High School students are giving back.

Jared and Jordan Pichard have spearheaded a Backpack Buddies program. It's geared to help feed underprivileged students during the summer.

They're collecting 50 gently-used or new backpacks, and filling them with non-perishable food. Those bags will then be handed out at Bond Elementary later this month.

If you'd like to help, you can drop off backpacks filled with non-perishable food, at Maclay or Holy Comforter schools by May 24th.
