LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Lowndes City Schools are also getting involved with the Veterans' Day action.
Monday morning, students waved flags at Westside Elementary School, during the school's second annual Veteran's Day parade.
One parent, who walked in the parade with his son, says it's important to recognize those who have served.
