THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)-- The Thomas County Sheriff's Office was contacted Friday night by the U.S. Marshal Service concerning an inmate that had escaped from a facility in Lowndes County.
Marshals had been given information that inmate Chad Edward Shaw was in the Thomasville area and there were a couple of possible locations the inmate would be.
Deputies from Thomas County, alongside narcotic agents and investigators were able to locate Shaw Friday night and take him into custody without incident.
