LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - A lieutenant with the Lowndes County Sheriff's office has died.
According to the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, Lieutenant Robert Guthrie passed away a short time ago. Sheriff Chris Prine says Guthrie was a dedicated deputy sheriff, father, husband and friend.
