Lowndes Co. Investigators Searching for Missing Teen Jasmine Gary

LOWNDES CO., Ga. (WTXL) - The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office is searching for missing teenager Jasmine Gary.

Deputies say on Friday, October 3, the 16-year old's family reported that she failed to return home after school. Deputies say they immediately began searching for Gary, contacting school resource officers who confirmed that she boarded the appropriate school bus. It is believed that Jasmine Gary failed to complete a switch of buses at Lowndes Middle School and may have walked away with friends.

Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office have checked several homes and spoken with her friends. So far, they have not been able to find Gary or get any leads.

Jasmine Gary is 5’3” tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and has a dark skin complexion.
