TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - Drivers beware. Road crews will have portions of Lonnbladh Road to closed Monday.
Construction prep work began at 9:00a.m. for the sidewalk project.
Lonnbladh Road will be closed from the east side of Greer Road to Capital Circle NE. Crews with the City of Tallahassee are relocate utility poles in preparation for the second phase of the Lonnbladh Road Improvement Project.
The road closures are expected to continue for four to six weeks and will take place on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The road will be fully reopened for night and weekend travel outside these working hours.
Phase one of this project was completed last year and included installing sidewalks along both sides of Lonnbladh Road from Olson Road to Greer Road.
The Lonnbladh Road Improvement Project will also address area flooding concerns by constructing a stormwater system near Greer Road.
