TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Where is Ali Gilmore? It is a question so many people have been asking, now for seven years.

Considered by some as one of the most notorious cold cases in the capital city, this weekend will mark seven years since Ali Gilmore, 30 at the time, suddenly vanished without a trace.

Gilmore was last seen February 2, 2007 leaving her part-time job at the Publix supermarket on Apalachee Parkway. However, co-workers at Gilmore's other job at the Florida Department of Health alerted police after Gilmore failed to show up for work the next day and the following Monday.

Pregnant at the time, friends and family say Gilmore was highly organized and it was very unusual for her to just disappear, especially without calling anyone.

At her home on Wilson Green Boulevard, investigators say they found no signs of a struggle. Her purse, police say was untouched. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary except for the fact that Ali Gilmore was missing.

Tallahassee police officers say this is still considered a missing persons case.

Gilmore's face could be seen on countless yard signs and billboards throughout the area. Family, friends, and strangers spent days, and now years, searching for answers.

The search continues each day with a website Gilmore's family has set up asking for help.

Ali's sister, Attallah McLawrence spoke with WTXL in 2011, saying: "I don't wish this on anyone's family, no one's family and I just wish that whoever knows something that the Lord will put something on their heart to do the right thing so our family can have closure with this tragedy that we've been going through."

While the years may have passed, family of Gilmore's say they still have hope that someone somewhere knows something.

Anyone with any information into the disapperance of Ali Gilmore is urged to call Tallahassee Police Department at (850) 891-4200 or Big Bend Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-8477.
