TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A reported threat that forced the lockdown of the Florida State University/Florida A&M University Engineering School has been founded by law enforcement to be "not credible."
Florida State University Police Department issued an updated safety alert saying the threat was "deemed not credible. Investigation will follow-up to determine the caller if possible."
FSUPD issued an initial alert at 1:45 p.m. saying officers were "investigating a phone call from an unknown individual who has made a threat against an individual at the Engineering School. The credibility and reliability of the call is not confirmed."
The photo attached above was posted on twitter, showing law enforcement blocking part of a roadway near the school.
Operations have returned to normal at the school.
