THOMASVILLE, GA (WTXL) -- Two schools were evacuated Thursday morning after a threatening note was found. Two other schools, were also placed on lockdown as a precaution.
According to Thomasville Police, a student at Scholars Academy found the note in the boy's bathroom and notified police. MacIntyre Park Middle School and the Scholars Academy were evacuated around 8 a.m. Thomasville High School and Scott Elementary were also put on lockdown.
As of 11:30, police said that the lockdown was lifted and the students who were evacuated were allowed to go home.
