PANACEA, Fla. (WTXL) -- One person was seriously injured after a head-on crash Thursday in Wakulla County.

The crash happened at 10:31 p.m. July 4 on US 98 at Tarpine Road in Panacea.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol say it appears the driver of an SUV veered into the opposite lane hitting a car head on. Troopers say the driver of the SUV was in stable condition, the driver of the second car was taken to TMH in serious condition.
