A tornado watch is currently in effect for most of the WTXL viewing region, including the state line counties in south Georgia, until 6 p.m.
Counties east of the Suwannee and Withlacoochee rivers are not included in the tornado watch.
This means conditions are favorable for the development of strong to severe storms, some of which may form tornadoes.
