TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A Tallahassee police officer has been booked into the Leon County Jail on charges that he solicited a prostitute.
Sergeant Brian Davis was put on paid administrative leave in March while the department said it was conducting an internal affairs investigation. At the time all the police department would say was that they were investigating Sgt. Davis for "violation of rules of conduct" and "violation of rules and/or laws."
In a news conference Friday afternoon, TPD announced that Sgt Davis had turned himself over to the Leon County Jail on charges that he solicited a prostitute.
This is a breaking news story, and will be updated with more details.
