TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A Tallahassee-based U.S. Airways flight en route to Charlotte made an emergency landing at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
U.S. Airways spokesman Andrew Christie confirms flight 2486 made an emergency landing shortly before 8 a.m. "out of an abundance of caution" after a strong odor could be smelled in the cabin. Christie says none of the 19 passengers or 3 crew members were injured.
The plane, a Bombardier CRJ 200, is a regional jet operated by PSA airline.
Passengers on board the plane are being bused to their final destination in Charlotte, North Carolina.
