Ta'Mar Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to bringing awareness to local, state and national audiences about the effects of sexual abuse in our communities, is hosting a Fashion Show on Sunday, December 9, 2012. It will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the TCC Workforce Development Center, 444 Appleyard Drive, Tallahassee, Florida.
The free event will feature models from around the nation and some in the Big Bend region, local and national designers as well as vendors.
Sherry Hollaway with the Ta'Mar Foundation says "We want to encourage, build, uplift and support the survivors of sex abuse who sometimes can inherit low self esteem and other negative treatment in life and now they think they are no longer beautiful because someone selfishly violated them."
