TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- In one of the closest Congressional races in the country, Republican Congressman Steve Southerland faced Democratic challenger Gwen Graham Tuesday in a face-to-face debate.
The event, moderated by long time Capitol reporter Bill Cotterell, was held at the Capital City Country Club.
The two touched on a serious of domestic and foreign topics including:

- Minimum Wage
- Economy

- Defense spending

Graham, daughter of former Florida Governor Bob Graham, is hoping to unseat Southerland, a Panama City businessman, to represent Florida's Second Congressional District, which spans areas including Tallahassee to Panama City.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been spent by countless groups organizing attack ads against the other.
