COOK COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL)--The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team continues to investigate a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck.
Troopers say 38-year-old Lee Fulp, of Adel, was riding the motorcycle south on Val Del Road Saturday afternoon around 4:15. They say Ferrell Herring, of Ray City, was on Fellowship Road heading west attempting to cross Val Del Road and didn't see the motorcycle. According to GSP, the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the truck. Fulp was taken to South Georgia Medical Center where he died. His funeral was Monday.
Fulp was a tech sergeant at Moody Air Force Base in the 820th Defense Group and the 820th Combat Operations Squadron. He served four tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.
