TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Leon County DUI Strike Force is conducting a comprehensive roadside sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, December 22.
The checkpoint will be in the 3900 block of Woodville Highway, and it will be from midnight until 2:00 a.m. Both northbound and southbound traffic will be stopped. Deputies will be checking drivers for signs of impairment while looking for tag or license violations, seatbelt violations and verifying vehicle insurance requirements.
Officials say that this checkpoint is part of an ongoing effort to reduce impaired driving and ensure that vehicles are being safely operated in the community.
