TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Martha White has been in custody since she was accused of murdering her 6-year-old grandson.
She is being held in the Leon County Jail on one count of premeditated murder. According to Chief Assistant State Attorney Georgia Cappleman, White's case is scheduled to go before the grand jury on August 26.
On August 5, only a few days before Mason Mason Rhinehart's 7th birthday, he was stabbed to death. According to court documents, White was watching her two grandsons when she took Mason into the bathroom and stabbed him to death.
Court documents say that White gave deputies a possible motive for killing her grandson.
As of August 14, White is still listed as being in Leon County Jail.
