MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) -- The Georgia Department of Labor is gearing up to help local businesses keep running smoothly.
The Department of Labor is teaming up with the Colquitt-Mitchell and Thomas County Employer committees for Employers in the Know 2015.
It's a half-day seminar that teaches the latest management and compliance issues and programs to help companies operating effectively.
Charlene Brinson, business services recruiter for the Georgia Department of Labor, joined on WTXL Midday to talk about the importance of this event.
Employers in the Know 2015 is Thursday, July 23 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. It's at the Moultrie campus of Southern Regional Technical College. Cost is $40 at the door, with a $5 discount for each additional person from the same company.
