TALLAHASSEE, Fla (WTXL) - Florida State's new football coach, Willie Taggart, arrived in Tallahassee early Wednesday.

"Go Noles!" Taggart said shortly after deplaning at Million Air Tallahassee about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday and just before entering a vehicle to be driven away.

At 11 a.m. Wednesday, Taggart's appointment is to be announced officially at a news conference.

Taggart, a 41-year-old Florida native, reportedly has signed a six-year deal for $30 million.

In one season at Oregon, Taggart led the Ducks to a 7-5 record.

He replaces Jimbo Fisher, who accepted the Texas A&M's head coaching job.
