TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- It is a device that allows thieves to steal your debit card information, and then your cash - all without you even know it.
Skimmers are small computer devices placed on top of ATM's and other machines that accept debit/credit cards.
Officer David Northway with Tallahassee Police Department says skimmers are small computers that scan your debit information as you slide your card into the machine.
